| Brief Outline A well-respected Civil Engineering contractor within the Highways sector requires an experienced Estimator to continue their growth About Our Client Our client is well established in the Highways sector and has shown continued growth since its conception. They are looking to set up an Estimating team within the company and plan to expand into new markets such as Rail. This is a great opportunity to set up the division and take your career to the next level About the Role * Review and report on the clients' enquiries to enable a decision to be made on their bid for road surfacing contracts and railway works * Prepare accurate cost estimates for the indirect resources required to carry out works in accordance with the agreed programme and engineering requirements * Establish the Estimating division and take the company to the next level * Present the prepared tender documents to company directors * Ensure that the best possible and most market competitive prices are submitted in all instances About the Candidate * Minimum of five years experience in an Estimating role within the Highways and Rail industry * Ability to read and understand tender documents, specifications, drawings and Terms & Conditions * Able to operate as an effective team player as well as a leader * Proactive and committed attitude at all times * Lead by example, demonstrate trust in the team and portray expertise in the role * Able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines Contact: If you are interested in the above vacancy or wish to discuss other vacancies within the industry, Please contact David Robinson on 02076935222 or email d.robinson@humres.co.uk | ||
