| Commercial Manager Civil Engineering / Water Shropshire Our Client delivers major civil engineering and construction projects continually providing high quality standards & value to their Clients. Due to the award of a framework contract within the water sector they are now looking to recruit an experienced Commercial Manager to join their team in Shropshire. The successful candidate will have a strong track record in Commercial Management with experience of dealing with a programme of multiple contracts worth collectively in the region of £50 million per annum and have a solid civils back ground. The role will involve working closely with other senior members of the Management Team to deliver a programme of works, close liaison with clients, establishing and maintaining a financial forecasting regime; reporting on the financial and contractual performance of individual projects and the performance of the Framework as a whole including the management an development of the subcontract supply chain within the Framework In addition, you will manage, lead, develop and motivate a team which includes Senior Quantity Surveyors and Quantity Surveyors and ensure there is effective communication with customers and colleagues regarding any commercial and supply chain issues. Therefore if you can demonstrate excellent leadership skills along with a sound commercial and financial acumen then we want to hear from you. Driving is essential for this role as travel to client sites across the region will be necessary. | ||
