| EIA Project Manager Major Wind Energy Company South West England Our client have a very strong commitment to renewable energy industry and are is looking for an EIA Project Manager to be involved in sites for the construction wind turbines within the UK. The focus is on the delivery of planning applications and supporting environmental statements; the initial priority will be to progress the development of sites won in the UK, but it is anticipated that the post will take a lead role in Round 3 developments. Responsibilities to include but not limited to; -Compliance with and understanding of health and safety requirements -Responsibility for managing and collating Planning Applications and Environmental Statements for the development of UK offshore wind farm opportunities -Working directly with the Project Development Manager and other team members to progress developments efficiently and according to programme. -Assist in the development of project budgets and programmes -Management of the Environmental Impact Assessment process plus review, edit and production of the Environment Statement for onshore and offshore works -Tender for and commission all necessary EIA survey works. Manage specialist consultants and contractors. -Stakeholder and public consultations including attendance at public exhibitions including commissioning the production of exhibition materials. Respond to queries on consents applications as required An applied understanding of EIA and UK planning processes, in-depth comprehension of UK renewable energy policy and excellent project management & communication skills are all are essential. Experience of developing wind energy projects is desirable but not essential.
