| Our client is a family run construction contractor. They are currently seeking an intermediate planner to join their team in Kent.
As an intermediate planner you will be joining a team of experienced planners and will also be responsible for planning projects from conception to completion.
With over 100 year's experience, our client is one of the longest running contractors in the UK. The employ over 600 staff and boast a profit of over £50m, clearly a market leader. Furthermore they have recently been awarded as one of the best companies (all categories) to work for in the prestigious Sunday Times awards.
If successful, you will be working on a range of projects including BSF projects - Building Schools for the Future - ranging in value from £5 - £50m. Our client requires a intermediate planner to work on tenders through to completion, the majority of their contracts are new build with a small amount of refurbishment projects. Site visits for project monitoring will take you to projects in Kent, Essex and East London.
Key skills our client requires are:
- Previous team leadership and staff training experience
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- High level planning software skills in either MS Project, Asta PowerProject or Primavera
- New build construction experience
Our client can pay the successful candidate the following:
- Up to £45,000 per annum (depending on experience)
- Car/car allowance
- Health
- Pension
