Our client's Dublin office is looking to recruit a Senior / Principal Traffic Engineer to lead and build their traffic engineering services in the Dublin office. You will deliver project work for the Dublin Transport group, and support the Galway and Belfast offices. Areas of work include (but are not limited to) the production of transport assessments, road safety audits, pedestrian and cycle studies, traffic management studies and parking studies. You will assist with client management, proposal preparation and presentation.
The ideal candidate will be degree qualified (ideally in Transport or Civil Engineering), have prior practical experience in the field of traffic engineering with relevant technical experience. Knowledge of project management, understanding of local authorities and ability to take projects from inception to satisfactory conclusion, time and budget are essential. You will need to have a good working knowledge of traffic engineering programs (ARCADY, PICADY, TRANSYT, LINSIG etc) as well as Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint. Demonstrating accuracy, attention to detail and high levels of presentation are essential.
