Our client's Belfast office is seeking to recruit a Consultant Transport Planner to assist in the delivery of project work. Areas of work will include (but are not limited to) the preparation of local transport studies, plans and strategies, scheme appraisal, traffic and transport surveys and travel planning, development planning and transport assessment.You will be expected to assist with client management, proposal preparation and presentation.

The ideal candidate will be degree qualified (ideally in Transport, Geography or Civil Engineering) and have prior practical experience in the field of multi-modal transport planning with relevant technical experience. You will need to have a good working knowledge of transport modeling programs (e.g TRIPS/CUBE, Saturn, EMME2, Visum, Vissim) as well as TRICS, Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint. Demonstrating accuracy, attention to detail and high levels of presentation are essential.
