| Senior Quantity Surveyor / Quantity Surveyor - Civils Project
Location:
Hertfordshire
Remuneration:
£40,000 - £55,000 per annum plus benefits (dependant on experience and seniority)

The client:
My client is looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor or a Site Quantity Surveyor looking to take the next step up in their career. They are a leading regional based UK main contractor who have been established for over 50 years and take pride in the service they offer to their clients.
Recently my client has been awarded a £2million civils contract, to be administrated as a Lump Sum NEC form of contract. The work they will be doing is earthworks, drainage, soil stabilisation, road construction.
The Job:
As the successful Senior or Site Quantity Surveyor you will be required to carry out the following duties:
- Select, negotiate, award and then draft sub-contracts.
- Produce Early Warnings for varied work.
- Provide quotations for Compensation Events.
- Assist the Site Agent on the commercial side of the contract.
- Produce monthly valuations.
- Produce Cost report's and assist in preparation of forecasts.
As well as the duties listed above my client is looking for a Quantity Surveyor who is commercially astute in all aspects of Quantity Surveying
Requirements:
- 5+ years UK Quantity Surveying experience
- Some form of educational qualification (MSC, BSC, HND, HNC)
- NEC form of contract knowledge
- Civils background preferably with relevant project experience
- Main Contractor / Sub Contractor background
