| Job Title: Senior Transport Planner Job Type: Full-time Location: Leeds Description Our Client is seeking high calibre applicants to join their expanding Transportation team.The role will be to respond to an interesting and challenging workload, mainly involved with transport implications of new development, and you can expect to be active on a wide range of projects/client accounts at any given time.The expanding nature of the business offers excellent career opportunities for the right applicants. Skills: oAbility to assess traffic & transport implications of new developments and prepare transport assessments. oIT literate in transport packages. E.g. TRICS, ARCADY, LINSIG, TRANSYT & PICADY. oAbility to develop travel plans. oAssessment & feasibility design of highway, bus pedestrian & cycle improvements. oGood written & oral communication skills. Qualifications: oTypically an appropriate numerate degree or MSc oUK driving license. Personal Qualities: oAble to manage projects. oAbility to work as part of a team. oApplicants should have relevant post-qualification experience.
