| We are offering a unique opportunity for a Principle Ecologist to join this exciting and expanding team, you will be joining the Ecology and EIA Team based in Belfast. This environmental team provides sustainable solutions to meet their clients needs. We specialise in delivering clients aspirations through negotiation and relationship building with local and national authorities whilst maintaining independence and objectivity. I am looking for an individual who wants to develop their career with a company that is always looking to develop and grow in a fast changing market place. DUTIES: *Leading and supporting existing teams and overseeing staff development. *Production of reports and protected species development license applications. *Preparation of reports and protected species development of new areas of business. *Undertake nature conservation assessments. *Undertake field surveys. *Management of own time and workload and that of team members. *Development of technical and other skills, paying attention to CPD requirements. *Management ecology and multi-disciplinary projects. *Providing technical advice for Environmental Impact Assessments and management plans. *Preparation of bids/proposals and development of new areas of business. REQUIREMENTS: *Hold a degree in a relevant discipline. *Ideally 5 years experience *Experience in EIA/SEA *Experience in writing technical reports and proposals. *Strong communication skills *Demonstrate innovation and strong drive to succeed.
