| M & E Coordinator/ Design & Build Manager West London £50,000-55,000 The company A world wide influential and well respected Design and Build Specialist with offices located throughout the United Kingdom, Europe and the rest of the World. The role M&E Coordinator/ Manager are required to join the construction team working on a £75m Building Schools for the Future project. Reporting to the Project Manager, the individuals will be expected to: ·Ensure that the quality of design information (both via consultants and specialist sub-contractors) is suitable and complete. ·Produce progress and other appropriate reports where necessary. ·Chair design and progress meetings with consultants, sub-contractors and relevant third parties. ·Implement Quality Management processes. ·Manage safety issues related to services. ·Ensure suitable commissioning programme is produced and that all processes are followed in accordance with statutory and/or industry discipline recognised and accepted. ·Liaise and track all design, procurement and installation procedures associated with all 'statutory' authorities i.e. electricity, water, gas etc. ·Manage the process of assessment of sub-contractor tenders for completeness, suitability and compliance with tender documentation. ·Make sure that the mechanical and electrical design process is satisfactorily co-ordinated with all other members of the design team to include other consultants, and specialist sub-contractors, ·You will have occupied a similar position previously and will have managed a range of commercial, residential, retail and PFI projects ·The value of the projects that you will have managed will be between £ 4 million and £40 million and beyond A proven track record clearly demonstrated through your career This is an immediate permanent position and all candidates are asked to include a full cv together with salary requirement and reason for leaving current position.
