Their core clients are, in the main, some of the best known blue chip companies in the UK and they have impressive plans to expand their client base and grow the business further in the next three to five years. They are a proven investor in their staff with nearly all of their senior management coming from within the company. Quantity Surveyor / Senior Quantity Surveyor / Intermediate Quantity Surveyor Our client is currently recruiting for an ambitious Quantity Surveyor to join their London team and take the lead on a number of exciting and complex interior refurbishments in the London region. Although the Quantity Surveyor will be office based in the main, the job will involve a degree of travel to sites and client meetings and the Quantity Surveyor will be expected to effectively represent the company in these meetings. As well as this the Quantity Surveyor will be expected to keep a tight grip on the finances of each of their projects to ensure best practice and achieve their set targets. There is a large element of customer relations involved within the role as many clients are retained and the Quantity Surveyor will have to provide excellent financial results while maintaining long term relations. Quantity Surveyor / Senior Quantity Surveyor / Intermediate Quantity Surveyor The right individual will be an established Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor with prior experience of working for a large fit-out contractor or medium to large main contractor. A relevant recognised qualification is also an advantage although candidates who are qualified by experience will also be considered. The right candidate will be self reliant and enthusiastic with the know how to bring projects together financially whilst having the communication skills to talk to people at all levels of the construction industry.
