	Bid Manager / Senior Estimator Midlands Our Client, one of the most successful construction groups in the north of England comes with a reputation for professionalism, quality of product and excellence of service and a blue chip client list that provides high levels of repeat and partnered opportunities within the Commercial and Public Sectors. To build on their continued success they are now looking to recruit an individual with creativity and high professional standards to work from their Birmingham office. You will head up a team and be responsible for managing the bid process fom initial tender through to final settlement. You will be expected to liaise with other departments including design & build, planning & M&E, participate in sub contractor vetting and advise the board on appropriate profit margins. Experience in cost planning, value engineering and risk management would be distinctly advantageous You will have main contracting experience in any of the above sectors, be a modern, forward thinking individual who is looking to make a difference. You will have excellent communication skills and possess an assertive and pro-active manner.
