Job Description:
Managing Quantity Surveyor West Yorkshire £Neg + Benefits

Our Client offers a comprehensive new build, refurbishment and fit out service to both public sector and private organisations. Their key areas of operation cover the North West, Midlands, Yorkshire and North East.

This position is within their Main Contracting Division.

Their skills and expertise enable them to undertake projects of all sizes with teams dedicated to smaller schemes and others concentrating on delivering larger schemes over £3 million.

Based from their Yorkshire office you will be responsible for managing 4-5 projects dependant on size and complexity and issues/opportunities. You will have commercial influence of all projects including construction decisions, be responsible for opportunity identification and maximisation and have financial control and risk management of al projects. Other duties will include dispute resolution, claim identification, preparation and resolution, monitoring sub contract payments, valuations and client payments, amount agreements, cost value reporting and general department management tasks as allocated. You will also be responsible for training, coaching and developing the team

In order to succeed you will be commercially aware and results motivated, be a team player and relationship builder, pro active and self motivated and have the ability to influence others and have good negotiating skills

You will already have experience at Managing QS level or above, have major building project experience and have a relevant construction qualification
