| Quantity Surveyor / Senior QS
My client is a leading contractor. They currently require a Quantity Surveyor / Senior QS to be based in their Didcot office (Oxford).
Due to their continued growth and a new department being set up my client is now seeking a Quantity Surveyor / Senior QS to be based from oxford working on civils and highways projects.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 6 years experience as a quantity surveyor within the UK (candidates with less will also be considered)
- BSc qualified in a related subject would be beneficial
- Contractor background
- Previous civils / highways experience is essential
Salary:
- Up to £45,000 per annum
- Car/car allowance
- Pension
Key partners of my client include local authorities, the Highways Agency and housing associations. Their operations include highways, property, environmental and business services. They also provide consultancy and professional support in a range of disciplines. They currently have a turnover of £150m.
As a quantity surveyor you will be required to take overall responsibility for all the cost and value for the civils projects worth up to £7m.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a rapidly growing department that has a turnover of £10m and this is expected to grow to £12.5m by the end of the year.
