Quantity Surveyor - Kent - JOB REF: AD1-6958. ** Ambitious and dedicated Quantity Surveyor required by a top international main contractor with an annual turnover of £6 billion. ** Location: Rochester, Kent Remuneration: £35,000 - £40,000 per annum. Company car + Car allowance. Benefits to include - Pension and Private Healthcare. Client: My client is a highly successful international main contractor that is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join their Civil Engineering arm. This team is renowned for the quality of their work and can boast of working on the UK's most prominent major infrastructure projects. Projects that they undertake span across many sectors including: Utilities, Marine, Highways, Rail, Power and Industrial. Opportunity: The successful Quantity Surveyor will be based on a Joint Venture project that is on course to run for the next two years. The project involves the construction of three, 40m height 100m diameter slit formed gas tanks, valued at £40 million for my client's portion of work. As the Quantity Surveyor you will be working on the foundations and core civil engineering right through to final accounts. Requirements: The successful Quantity Surveyor will ideally posses: * 4 years+ Quantity Surveying experience * Main Contractor background. * Civils experience. * BSc / HND in Quantity Surveying are advantageous but not essential.
