| Assistant Quantity Surveyor - T2
Location:
Heathrow T2

Role:
We are looking for Assistant Quantity Surveyors to join a high-profile project team, working on a variety of infrastructure schemes related to the development of a major airport development project.
EC Harris are employed via a framework agreement to provide cost management on the Terminal 5 project. The project is divided into various delivery teams who together will construct the terminal and are well established. Each delivery team is divided into Task Teams dealing with defined areas of work.

Responsibilities:
The role involves the estimation of project costs, the integration of costs, cost planning, cost verification, and benchmarking, covering a range of projects including the development of car parks, river diversions, roads and a variety of other associated civil infrastructure works associated with the development of a new terminal building.
Employees will also be expected to liase with other commercial staff and project stakeholders, including client representatives as required.
This role is full time and offers the individual the potential for personal development and association with the premier airport development in Europe.
Experience:
-Experience gained on major civil projects.
-Working towards "MRICS" qualification .
-2+ years working in rail, tunnelling or heavy
civils with a consultancy contractor
-Exposure to: A more culturally enlightened
environment i.e. partnering, frameworks,
single commercial team
