They were established in 1897 and have grown from strength to strength. They were last year ranked in the BITCs top 100 companies. They employ around 2000 members of staff across 5 core business and they have businesses which cover the whole UK from Scotland to Hampshire. They are looking to recruit an Intermediate Quantity Surveyor or a Project Quantity Surveyor to join their London office where they will be joining a team consisting of 10 Quantity Surveyors at all levels. Once settled into the role and established the intermediate Quantity Surveyor has a realistic chance of moving to Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor depending on your performance. The Role of the Intermediate Quantity Surveyor / Project Quantity Surveyor/ Quantity Surveyor The successful Intermediate Quantity Surveyor will be working on some large projects like a £8.4m new build and refurbishment project which will be in London. This is a client facing role where 75% of your Quantity Surveying duties will be attending client meetings, pre tender meetings and mainly site duties. The contracts will tend to be between £2m - £20m mainly in London and the South East. The Intermediate Quantity Surveyor or Project Quantity Surveyor will be working closely to 2 Assistant Quantity Surveyors who will be covering the office based Quantity Surveyor duties whilst you are on site and attending meetings. The Intermediate Quantity Surveyor or Project Quantity Surveyor would report to the Senior Quantity Surveyor on a weekly basis. They are looking for an Intermediate Quantity Surveyor or a Project Quantity Surveyor that has around a minimum of 4 years experience in the industry, ideally with a Main Contractor or even a likewise sized fit out contractor. The Intermediate Quantity Surveyor or Project Quantity Surveyor must have a relevant Quantity Surveyor qualification and have excellent reference and be based close to South East England.
