| Senior Quantity Surveyor / Quantity Surveyor - £8million project
A Senior Quantity Surveyor / Quantity Surveyor is required to join a prestigious Main Contractor and take control of a £8million housing scheme based in the North London area
With good links from Central London my client's prestigious offices in North London are easily commutable from most destinations.
The vacancy:
My client has recently been awarded a number of framework agreements and this coupled with a number of project wins has resulted in the immediate need for a Senior Quantity Surveyor
Remuneration:
£45,000 - £50,000 per annum plus benefits
Benefits include: Car or car allowance, pension, health care and a health holiday allowance
The client:
My client is part of an internationally renowned group who has an annual turnover of approximately £1.5 billion.
The division that I am currently dealing with concentrates on the refurbishment, modernisation and enhancement of public sector residential buildings as well as planned maintenance and Decent Homes Contracts.
Projects include kitchen and bathroom refurbishments, window renewals, heating and electrical installations, disabled adaptations, structural repairs and external repair packages
The Job:
As the successful Senior Quantity Surveyor you will be assigned initially to the £8million project as mentioned above, the project is starting imminently and already has an Assistant Quantity Surveyor starting on the more junior tasks.
There is also another £14million project starting just after Christmas and as the successful Senior Quantity Surveyor you will be responsible to help bring on another Surveyor to look after that particular project
This is a unique opportunity to work with a smaller part of a top 10 UK Main Contractor where you will NOT be just another number but will be an integral part of moving the business forwards
Requirements:
Ideally you will have 10 years Quantity Surveying experience here in the UK
You must have a Main Contractor background predominantly with housing, social housing or residential project experience
Any educational qualifications will be looked upon favourably
Knowledge of MTC forms of contract is advantageous
