| Position Quantity Surveyor, Senior Quantity Surveyor, Intermediate Quantity Surveyor, Project Quantity Surveyor Location North London Salary Negotiable Daily or Hourly rates depending on the level of the relevant Quantity Surveyor experience of the applicant. Current rates vary from £320-380 p/day or an equivalent hourly rate. THIS VACANCY; This large internationally renowned contractor requires a freelance quantity surveyor to work on a £50m education project in North London London. Your main responsibility on site will be to procure for all the sub-contract packages for the project. You will report to the managing quantity surveyor and will be responsible for all packages which will include; frame packages, M&E, and groundwork's. Your contract will be for a minimum of 3-6 months and your base will be on site in the North London area. This contract will be ongoing as the project will need further commercial assistance in other areas as time progresses. For this quantity surveyor position you must have a solid main contracting background and experience of working on new build projects however, it is not essential to have experience of as large project as this. The Role - Quantity Surveyor, Senior Quantity Surveyor, Intermediate Quantity Surveyor or Project Quantity Surveyor, Contract Surveyor As a proven Quantity Surveyor you will have a track record working on complex major construction projects. You will possess either a Degree or HNC and will have the drive and confidence to work in a professional site based team. As the project's "number one" Quantity Surveyor, you will need to be results driven and someone who is able to work at a fast pace in a team with energy and focus. You will have previously worked as a project Quantity Surveyor on a similar value project or now be looking to progress onto large more prestigious work.
