	Principal Transport Planner - Australia Our market leading client provides a comprehensive service that combines transportation planning and traffic engineering, land use and master planning, as well as detailed engineering to give our clients a full service from project inception to implementation. The reputed transportation planners act as independent advisors to public and private clients, providing in-depth analyses and forecasting for urban and rural development. Our services cover all aspects of transportation and include planning for highway networks, public transport systems, as well as airports. About the Role you'll be responsible for providing wide-ranging traffic/transportation expertise to multi-disciplinary projects within the group; develop and win new business in the traffic/transportation field; develop and help manage a traffic/transportation team; and manage and deliver technical, financial and management requirements of projects. About You As a Principal Transport Planner you will have experience in at least two of the following areas: multi-modal modelling; feasibility studies; pedestrian simulation modelling; transport and junction assessments; micro-simulation; Transport Impact Assessment studies; Transport Master Planning; economic and financial appraisals; and toll roads, DBFO & PFI. A CMILT, MICE or MIHT (or equivalent) and a post graduate qualification in traffic/transportation (or equivalent) would also be advantageous
