| Project Manager - Rail - Australia / Brisbane Our market leading client is an international consultancy providing a comprehensive range of integrated planning, management, engineering and environmental services in the built and natural environments throughout the world. The clients Brisbane office has been set up as a fully-integrated engineering office focusing on core rail disciplines of civil, track, signalling, telecommunications, and traction power engineering. The Role - We are actively seeking to source an experienced Project Manager. The role will contribute to the growth of the developing team in the Brisbane office, in a booming market for major rail projects. This new position offers plenty of opportunity for development, working on a variety of projects for both public and private sector clients in Queensland and Australia in general. What do you bring? - Ideally you will have (or be working towards) a recognised Project Management qualification (MAPM / PRINCE2). You will have demonstrable capability in the competencies expected from a project manager; (budget, programme and quality control). You will have extensive proven experience with Chartered Engineering Status. Managing railway, multi-disciplinary design & consultancy commissions with good communication skills, both in terms of the project team and client liaison. It is desirable that you posses a background with a technical or engineering focus in the rail sector and a desire to complete tasks on time and to budget.
