| Construction Contracts Manager. Plymouth. £50,000 - £54,000 + £5,000 car allowance + benefits + Bonus. My client is one of the top contractors in the country. Specialising in Design and Build extensions and new build retail contracts up to £10 million in value across the South and south West. They are currently looking to expand their already established south West team with a driven and experienced Contracts Manager. You will be responsible the running of up to 4 prestigious projects in the Retail and High Street Bank sectors worth around £5 million - £10 million from tender and conception through to completion as well as liaising with your clients, architects and engineers to ensure timely completions to budget. You will cover the whole of the south West from Plymouth to Portsmouth and report to the Board of Directors. As the successful candidate, you will be from a construction-biased background, ideally at degree level, and will have a wealth of experience of a broad range of projects including refurbs and new build with a range of different clients. Retail and large project experience is essential. An excellent communicator and leader, you will have experience of working well under pressure and to strict deadlines not to mention commercial acumen and have experience of managing a number of site teams. You will already be working with a similar sized contractor on projects over £8 million in value.
