| SECTION ENGINEER - OLYMPICS PROJECT - £35-45K + Package Our client a leading civil engineering main contractor in operation for over 40 years are known within the industry for a hands on approach to their projects and for delivering these on time and to budget. They are specialists in the rail infrastructure sector, working on the biggest projects with the best people. Currently they are working on the Kings Cross Package 4 which will be an integral part of the 2012 Olympic games. They are looking for section engineers who are confident and capable of working on major civils projects. As the section engineer on site you will: * Lead an engineering team to ensure work on the package is completed effectively and efficiently * Oversee site engineers and junior engineers to ensure that setting out is completed accurately * Provide experienced support to the site manager * Be HND, HNC or degree qualified in civil engineering * Have worked on major projects with experience in reinforced concrete * Be an excellent communicator who is confident in dealing with 3rd parties Along with this you will enjoy working as part of a team, be able to work to strict deadlines and be confident to manage engineers and sub contractors.
