| Position Design Manager, Design Co-ordinator, Senior Design Manager, Project Design Manager Location Croydon THIS VACANCY; A top 10 prestigious main contractor has just started a £14m design & build Healthcare project in Croydon. Our client is on site and the project in the ground with the steel frameworks soon to be erected. Our client requires a design manager to work on site immediately and who will report to the project director on site. As design manager for our client you will be responsible for the co-ordination and management of the design process on site, ensuring compliance with the employers requirements, that all budget costs are controlled, to undertake all document control and to see that drawing information is distributed to ensure all subcontractors and engineers have up to date information. For this design manager position you must have at least 3 years experience as a design manager and will have worked in the industry for over 10 years. If you have an architectural background or come from site management or engineering backgrounds any will be suitable and advantageous. However, for this design manager position you must have at least one recognised building qualification. Salary Negotiable Daily or Hourly rates depending on the level of the relevant Design Manager experience of the applicant.
