| Position Quantity Surveyor, Senior Quantity Surveyor, Intermediate Quantity Surveyor, Project Quantity Surveyor Location London & South East Salary Negotiable Daily or Hourly rates depending on the level of the relevant Quantity Surveyor experience of the applicant. Current rates vary from £325- £400 a day or an equivalent hourly rate. THIS VACANCY; This very well established large main contractor requires a Freelance Managing Quantity Surveyor to oversee their various sites in and around the London and South East region. As Managing Quantity Surveyor you will be overseeing their many different refurbishment projects ranging from £5m-£15m. Projects will predominately be of commercial nature but will also include some educational project work. It is essential that you have experience in running a number of different projects at the same time and have practiced as a Senior or Managing Quantity Surveyor for main contractors previously. As the project's "number one" Quantity Surveyor, you will need to be results driven and someone who is able to work at a fast pace in a team with energy and focus. You will have previously worked as a project Quantity Surveyor on a similar value project or now be looking to progress onto large more prestigious work.
