| SENIOR ENGINEER - OLYMPICS PROJECT - £35-45K + Package Our client have a multi billion pound turnover due to their expertise and knowledge within the civil engineering sector. They work on projects valued up to £100million and are a leading main contractor who are working on some of the most exciting projects in UK. Currently they are looking to employ a Senior Engineer to work on the construction of rail, road, and foot bridges in the Olympic park. The project is valued at £35million and the works are due to run for 3 years. As the Senior Engineer on site you will: * Have experience of settting up initial survey control for projects * Be able to use Autocad setting out software and manipulate electronic setting out information and dowload to instruments * Develop, train and mentor junior engineers in methods of 'setting out' and basic site engineering skills * Be interested in developing and improving setting processes out within the business * Understand complicated drawings and rebar schedules * Manage, monitor and interpret the contract design documents of the project * Be an excellent communicator You will have: * Worked with a main contractor on civils projects * Rounded experience of civils projects * A qualification in civil engineering; either HND, HNC or degree * CSCS card * Current driving licence You will be a leader and always look at ways to better engineering practices. You will enjoy working as part of and leading a team.
