| Site Manager - Civils Projects - £35-45K + Package Our client turn over £251 million annually and have over 9 regional offices throughout the South East of England. They operate within the civil engineering main contracting arena. Their specialist business are looking for site managers to work on civils projects within a rail environment. Your key duties as a site manager will be: * Ensure inspection of site before sub-contractors start work and that the relevant checks are carried out * Ensure health and safety regulations are adhered to * Be familiar with the critical path work for the project * Ensure compliance with specification and design * Ensure that accurate and up to date records are kept in relation to the construction * Be familiar with & operate to the project environmental plan * Understand programmes and be able to monitor and action progress * Liaise with designers and the project team * Monitor costs and adhere to the budget Projects you will work on will include station refurbishment, station modernisation, platform extension, bridge works, buildings and other civils works. You will have a HNC, HND or degree in civil engineering and will have experience working on civils within a rail environment. Please not this is not permanent way works.
