| CIVILS FOREMAN - READING - 20-30K + PACKAGE Our client is fast establishing themselves as a key player in the civil engineering main contracting arena and operate throughout a number of disciplines within civil engineering and construction. Due to recent growth they have been awarded a project in Reading and are seeking to employ a foreman to oversee a civils and telecoms site. As the site foreman you will coordinate sub-contractors and organise the workforce to ensure work is coordinated to time scales. You will take delivery of materials and organise sub-contractors to ensure the site runs smoothly. The project is a civils and telecoms project based in reading which involves the laying of foundations, trunking and installation of fibre optic cables. This project is valued at £2million and is only a small site however once completed there will be other work which will involve station upgrades, installation of foot bridges and infrastructure works. You will have a good understanding of civil engineering/construction and be able to lead and effectively communicate with sub-contractors and site operatives. You will have come from a background of working on civils or high profile build projects and hold your CSCS card.
