| PROJECT MANAGER - CIVILS - £45-55K + PACKAGE Our client a reputable and well known civil engineering main contractor have operations throughout the UK. They work on tunnel refurbishment, bridge replacement and civils projects valued from £10million to £100 million. Currently they are looking for a project manager to be based in London to work on large civil engineering projects. As the project manager you will: * Involve and input in projects at all stages from pre-qualifying and tendering through to completion * Ensure that the site team are fully apprised of the contract parameters and have the capability and resources necessary to achieve contract objectives * Develop positive relationships with all parties associated with the contract * Ensure that the contract is executed in accordance with legislation, contract terms and conditions, the health and safety plan, and the quality and environmental plan * Deliver the contract within time and budget * Look for ways to improve culture and the use of best practice * Provide formal reports on contract progress to the contract director * Proactively promote the company and its capabilities to clients * Identify business development opportunities and ensure any opportunities are communicated to the business development executive You will have: * Experience of successfully leading a project delivery team * Experience working on civil engineering projects including structures and bridges * Significant exposure to design and construct activities * IT literate, particularly with Microsoft office applications * Degree or HND/HNC qualification in civil engineering * CSCS card Along with this you will be a leader who strives to achieve objectives and is always looking at ways to apply best practice.
