| Principal / Associate Project Manager Teesside & Other Locatrions Role: To act as a project manager on a variety of diverse types of project in size, in the private and public sectors, including civil, structural and regeneration projects. oExercise good financial control oCapable of self starting projects with clients and multi-discipline teams oCross office working with internal colleagues on delivery oAct as Contract Administrator/Employers Agent oAct as Client Representative oIntegrate with my clients disciplines and systems Key Competencies: oUnderstands the different levels of project management oExcellent communicator both in oral and written senses oDemonstrates a broad understanding of the wider construction process across a variety of sectors/project types oWorking knowledge of various Standard Forms of Contract oUnderstands the design process relative to other disciplines oUnderstanding of management information principles and KPI's oCompetent in using various PM tools and systems, risk assessment methodologies, programming, extranet document systems etc oFinancial management Qualifications oEducated to a degree level or equivalent oChartered Professional Personal Qualities: oCapable of taking the initiative and being highly pro-active. oDiplomatic and tactful at all times oClient-facing oDemonstrates good leadership skills oCan readily assimilate diverse information oPragmatic approach to problem solving oEnergetic and enthusiastic general approach oExperience: oLarger new build projects up to approx £10m oMulti Discipline Projects oPublic and Private Sector oContract administration skills oWorking knowledge of contracts in a partnering culture.
