| Job TitleAssociate Roads & Infrastructure Job TypeFull-time LocationGlasgow SalaryNegotiable Role My client requires an individual of the highest calibre, preferably Chartered, with extensive experience in road design and management, fully conversant with the DMRB Standards, SHW and SUDS technologies within a Scottish context. A working knowledge of ground modelling packages, drainage design and AutoCAD would be advantageous. You will have experience of my cleints office based management/team leader of design (and also of previous independent design) of roads, road drainage and junctions including signing, markings and safety barriers. Knowledge and appreciation of highway drainage would be an advantage but not an essential requirement. Experience of current forms of procurement would be a distinct advantage. The Glasgow office provides multi-disciplinary design services for a diverse range of projects in retail, defence, commercial, healthcare, educational and residential, typified by the following: Victoria Hospital Fife2 PPP Schools, Edinburgh Dundee Waterfront Redevelopment Granton Redevelopment, Edinburgh Longannet Power Station Large Scale Housing Developments Renewable Energy Systems including 12 Wind Farms Infrastructure and Major Development Skills: Chartered Civil or Structural Engineer with proven technical and management expertise who has extensive knowledge of the requirements of roads and infrastructure projects. The ability to produce technical reports, including contributions to safety cases and the ability to work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams and contribute to the development of best value solutions is essential. Qualifications: Degree qualified with a civil/structural engineering related degree, Chartered or approaching Chartered status.
