| My client is a well established developer looking to employ an Architectural Technologist. The role will call for a person to form the link between the architect's concept and the completed construction, bridging the gap between the idea of an attractive functional building and the reality of that building performing successfully. They ensure that the right materials are used and that the building meets building regulations and other legal requirements. They also monitor quality assurance, cost and the meeting of deadlines throughout the lifetime of a construction project. "A minimum HNC/HND in Construction/Building or equivalent qualification is desirable "Production of working drawings and liasing with the NHBC/LA to secure Building Regulation approval "Excellent knowledge of AutoCAD 2000, excel, word & outlook "Confident and personable manner in dealing with external consultants and other departments "Thorough Knowledge of the Building Regulations is essential | ||
