| Senior Public Health Engineer North West £40 - £50k + Package Job Grade 5/6 My client is looking for a senior public health engineer to work in a multi disciplinary team with a portfolio of exciting and varied building projects. The suitable candidate would also help to maintain and grow the Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) business in the northwest. This role would suit an individual who enjoys building service design and looking to develop technical/leadership skills. The workload is international and there are likely to be opportunities to travel for those working on my clients overseas projects. This role would also suit an individual looking to progress and who is excited by great designs. The candidate would be dealing with internal as well as external clients also contact with business area managers from other business areas nationally and internally. The Role: oTo undertake Public Health design elements for major projects oManage the production of drawings and reports and preparation of Public Health specifications oSupervising and coordinating the work of others and coordinating work with engineers within other disciplines oAttend meetings and communicate with clients to establish their needs oManage project teams to ensure production of deliverables to agreed timelines and within budget oProvide technical guidance and mentoring to less experienced members of the team What's required: oDegree qualified or offer equivalent experience and have either achieved Chartered status through CIBSE or be working towards Chartership oAble to work independently with minimal supervision oHave extensive experience in leading the Public health design of significant projects oShould be able to demonstrate significant experience in supervising junior engineers/technicians oShould be proficient and skilful in managing client negotiations and interactions leading to the successful development of design solutions to meet client expectations oHave excellent people management skills and experience of managing staff at all levels oAbility to think outside the specialism and integrate multi disciplinary requirements into holistic coordinated solutions oExcellent planning, organisational and time management skills oExcellent communication skills both written and verbal Benefits: oCareer progression oCompany car/allowance (Negotiable) oPension oBonus Scheme And much much more...
