The Role Mechanical Design Engineer, Senior Mechanical Building Services Engineer, Principal Mechanical Design Engineer As a proven Mechanical Design Engineer you will have gained over 5 years experience in the Building Services industry. Preferably within a consultancy background. You will need to have a solid understanding of Mechanical Design and will be involved in producing, writing and reviewing reports, Specifications and commissioning plans. You will be proficient in the use of Hevacomp or Cymap or a similar calculations software. Experience working on detailed design of schools, colleges, listed building would be beneficial as would knowledge of Low Carbon Design, renewable energy, sustainability or BREEAM. As a Mechanical Building Services Engineer with experience in taking part in site meetings, undertaking Site Surveys and involved in the design, selection and sizing of Mechanical aspects of Building Services such Piping, Ductwork and HVAC systems.
