| Senior Bridge Engineer Responsibilities: To utilise your previous experience and participate on variety of bridge projects, such as M1 Widening Junctions 25-28, capacity enhancement to the Docklands Light Railway, N9/N10 Phases 3 & 4 in Ireland and other opportunities. Participation will range from feasibility studies to detailed design and engineering support during construction. You will be expected to produce designs while managing projects and playing a role in the development of junior members of staff. Education: *Good degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent) *Chartered Engineer (or approaching chartership) with appropriate experience Experience: Previous experience in the design assessment of bridge and other highways structure is essential. Experience from a multi-disciplinary environment and working on D&B/ECI contracts would be an advantage. Proven ability to lead design teams and a sound knowledge of DMRB standards. Skills and Knowledge: *Knowledge of Microsoft applications *Good level of written and spoken English *Experience in the use of industry standard analysis and design standards *A sound understanding of structural behaviour *Strong communication and team leadership skills *Flexible attitude, in an environment with frequently changing deadlines. *Can be relied on to meet deadlines. *Committed to both their work and personal development, with a willingness to widen their experience.
