The Company:
My client is the UK's fastest-growing civil engineering company; they are a South East based contractor with a turn over in excess of £45 million per annum.
The sectors they cover include, Oil, Gas, Petrochemical, Pipelines, Process, Civils and Utilities on a national level. They have a strong and highly focused management and engineering team.
A Quantity Surveyor is required by my client to be based on a challenging civils project in the Andover area.
The Role:
Due to recent project wins and excellent business practices my client now requires a competent quantity surveyor who can work autonomously and manage a
£20m project based from Andover.
The duration for this project is for three years and is a joint venture for an end client.
Although you will need to be able to work independently you will work closely with the project manager on this project. The Quantity Surveyor will report directly to the Commercial Manager.
Requirements:
* A minimum of 4 years experience as a quantity surveyor in the UK
* Civils experience is essential
* A contractor background is essential
* NEC forms of contract experience would be beneficial
This is an excellent opportunity for a quantity surveyor who is looking to run a challenging project and for security of work in the Hampshire area.
