| Estimator /Cost Planner/ Senior Estimator-Design and Build Projects- £45,000 - £50,000 per annum plus benefits

The role:
Our client is a leading UK developer based in the Hertfordshire area. A Senior Estimator is required to work alongside a Estimating Manager on a number of design and build projects valued from £2.5million - £25million

Responsibilities:
I have been asked to source a Senior Estimator / Cost planner who is interested in working on the front end of projects. Duties you will be expected to carry out include budget costs, feasibility reports, cost plans, budget appraisals and alterations to drawings as well as the review of strategies
To be successful in this role you must have good commercial acumen with a specialist knowledge of building regulations (social housing), asbestos contamination and PPC2000 (partnering forms of contract)
As the successful Estimator / Cost Planner you will be based out of our client's offices in Hertfordshire but will be required to occasionally visit sites as and when required.
Requirements:
10+ years Estimating / Cost Planning experience
Contractor or Consultancy/PQS background is considered
Good EXCEL and WORD skills are crucial
Formal qualifications (HND/HNC or BSc) are favourable but not essential
Housing / Social Housing project experience required
