| Our client is a leading and well-respected M&E Contractor within the Building Services Industry with a turnover of in excess of £80M. They are looking to bring in an Electrical Estimator in to their team. THE ROLE The Electrical Estimator will be working under the direction of the Estimating Manager, and in accordance with Company standards and procedures, suitable applicants will be responsible for undertaking full estimating activities on allocated contracts, from tender enquiry through to completion of tender submission to the directors, with the objective to ensure that new contracts are awarded for the Company CORE RESPONSIBLITIES ·Working alongside the existing team ·Preparing tenders for submission to the directors ·Using computerised estimating packages, in the production of estimating ·Attend all pre-tender meetings ·Ensure tenders submitted are commercially viable ·Experienced tendering between £500k - £2.5M THE PERSON ·Previous experience of a similar role is essential within a contracting environment ·A good all round commercial awareness is needed ·Good Negotiation Skills ·IT Literate ·Awareness of National Schedule of rates HumRes is a specialist recruitment consultancy with an extremely successful M&E building services division.
