| Senior Quantity Surveyor / Quantity Surveyor - Top Main Contractor
A Senior Quantity Surveyor / Quantity Surveyor is required by a top 10 international main contractor to be based on site in North London. The other project sites are based in and around London all within commutable distance
Remuneration:
£50,000 per annum plus a market leading benefits package

Introduction:
I have been set the task of sourcing a Senior Quantity Surveyor / Managing Quantity Surveyor for one of my premier clients.
They are a world renowned Main Contractor and have a focus on being the worlds best in highways as well as construction, rail and utilities.
The opportunity:
As the successful candidate you will be working within the highways sector and will be responsible for the commercial aspects of the earthworks on a major highways joint venture project.
The successful Senior Quantity Surveyor will report to the Assistant Commercial Manager and the Commercial Manager with responsibility for a section Quantity Surveyor and a summer student.
You will be expected to manage a £20million Earthworks Target Cost Sub-Contract from negotiation of Sub-Contract to Final account, whilst playing a key role with the earthworks construction team including pricing and monitoring of budgets/forecasts, drawing weekly and monthly allowances and monitoring material wastage.
Requirements:
15+ years UK Quantity Surveying experience
Contractor background with highways or civil engineering project experience
NEC Contract or other target cost environment experience
Educational qualifications are not essential
