| Quantity Surveyor / Intermediate Quantity Surveyor - £20mill retail redevelopment
This position is an exciting opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor or an Intermediate Quantity Surveyor looking to take the next step up and join a growing main contractor and handle a challenging but rewarding project.
Location:
- Essex
Renumeration:
- £30,000 - £40,000 per annum dependant upon Quantity Surveyor experience
- Company car
- Pension Scheme
The Project and Job:
The project comprises of a 2 year refurbishment and reconstruction of a large £20 million retail shopping development in South-Essex. This is a very interesting project as it offers diverse and challenging range of activates including the construction of a vast glass roof to the new centre. Furthermore they also have a £2million commercial office fit out which you maybe working on as a secondary basis.
Currently the company is growing and taking on a lot of high profile projects so there is a real opportunity for the right quantity surveyor to progress quickly to a senior.

My client specialise in high quality fit out, refurbishment and new developments across London and the Home Counties. They are an innovative, proactive company who are flexible enough to undertake all types of projects from main contracting through to multi-trade/package contracting.
Requirements:
- Quantity surveyor with 3 - 5 years good UK firm experience
- Contractor background
- General building experience
