	Senior CAD Technician - Highways Design - Essex Our client is a rapidly expanding and well reputed transport focused consultancy. Due to expansion they require a skilled and experienced Technician to assist in a growing portfolio of transport infrastructure related work. This is a technical post reporting to an Associate and you will assist in the design of modern highways to current regulatory and quality standards. The Senior Technician will work as a member of the Project Team, receiving delegated tasks from Senior Engineers/Engineers and delegating certain tasks to Technicians, you will be expected to mentor and coach less experienced staff and oversee the quality output of the technical design team. Applicants should possess a B.Tec Higher Certificate or equivalent in appropriate subjects or a B.Tec National Certificate plus two years experience. In addition, applicants should have a working knowledge of Auto-CAD (including Auto track, Auto sign, Key lines), Department of Transport Standards.
