| Project Surveyor Essex up to £60k plus package U7585 With a turnover of over £500m and a finger in every pie from new build to fit out, my client are a force to be reckoned with in the London market. Annual growth is at a steady 10% and with a overflowing portfolio of prestigious projects and repeat business at over 65%, the future looks very secure indeed. the company is a privately owned company comprising of six national offices located across the UK with the head office based in essex the company is expecting that the South East turnover will increase from £40 million to over £70 million in 3-4 years. the company operates across a broad spectrum of the construction market in both the public and private sectors and specialises in 5 mains sectors Accommodation Commercial Education Hotels and Leisure Non-acute Health The Project The project is a Leisure facility in essex comprising of a community centre, library, fitness, diving pool and car park. The start date is March 2008 and will run for 72 weeks expected completion date will be in 2009. The project is a traditionally procured, NEC contract and is valued at £17 million. The Role Looking for a stand alone Project Surveyor to run the project. Will be assisted by two intermediate quantity surveyors. The candidate will be involved in every aspect of the project from pre contract to final accounts. The company is looking for an individual with experience of running new build projects, dealing with every aspect of the project process from start to finish. The candidate should also have good interpersonal skills as they will be required to deal with the client for the duration of the project.
