| An outstanding salary package is now on offer for an M&E contracts manager to join the London office of a Northern M&E Contracting Group; Group turnover of work secured for 2008 - 45 million. In the Northwest this company asserts dominance of the M&E design and build sector; boasting a purpose built head office and dedicated design studio covering 15000 square foot, delivering a potent impact to the prestigious clients that visit their offices. In 2003 our client established a London branch in order to secure a foothold in a growing southern market and in anticipation of London's successful bid for the 2012 Olympics, particularly the Olympic village. Since London's inception our client have extended their distinguished brand name to secure business valued annually at 5 million. As turnover grew the exceptional reputation of contract delivery in the North was sustained by a decision to transfer decision making for the Southern Region to London. In 2007 the decision was made to appoint a regional Managing Director to control the Southern region as a decision-making unit in its own right. Using Humres a Managing Director was secured for the Southern Region. The MD of the Southern Region brings 30 years extensive contracting experience at a top 3 M&E contractor; his brief is to increase turnover of the Southern Region from 5 to 15 million by 2012. Since the MD's arrival he has secured 5 prestigious projects and employed an operations manager to manage the increase in turnover of contracts; his role is now largely business development. The increase in turnover and project sizes has created the need for a senior contracts manager to support the operations manager on larger projects and become the next operations manager in 5 years with the retirement of the current MD. The role: Responsible for managing the project team and project contract from inception to completion Reporting to the Operations Manager you will ensure that all planned programme and financial targets are achieved Experience: It is essential to have a solid work history within the M&E subcontracting industry in the UK Proven experience of controlling the delivery of multimillion pound mechanical building services projects An outstanding opportunity: You will be the most senior contracts manager in the fastest growing region of a group with a turnover of work secured annually of 45 million This is a ladder to the position of Operations Manager in 5 years With growth predicated to increase by 10 million in 5 years the bonuses will be exceptional Outstanding basic salary of 50-55K, benefits, and bonus incentives HumRes is a specialist recruitment consultancy with an extremely successful M&E building services division.
