| Senior Quantity Surveyor - W.London/Thames Valley - to £65k + Merc/BMW, Pension, Bupa, Bonus! JOB OUTLINE Our client - one of the nations leading & innovative Social Housing Contractors seeks a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their expanding Thames Valley team. One key project is a £160 million regeneration scheme including schools, a community centre, leisure and Retail facilities. JOB DESCRIPTION To provide commercial expertise and be responsible for the financial delivery of one or a number of projects including the management of relevant surveying staff. Maintain compliance with Group/Divisional Surveying procedures. Manage, train and develop surveying staff where appropriate. Deliver effective team working with other disciplines, especially the site/project manager. Maintain relationships with key subcontractors. Maximise entitlement whilst observing Business Stream guidelines on partnering projects. Be effective and timely in resolving disputes. Aspire to the highest possible standards of subcontract procurement. Accurately value the subcontractor works in accordance with the conditions of their contract. Ensure that external valuation receipts and subcontract payments are in accordance with conditions of contract. Complete CVC reports, ensuring they accurately reflect the current position on site and the final profit projection. Quantity Surveyor or Construction Management Degree. Contracting experience.
