| My client is one of the UK's leading consulting engineering practices based in London and various other locations around the UK. They provide a full range of civil and structural engineering and project management services. With almost 1000 dedicated and enthusiastic technical and professional staff, together with a strong administrative team in support, they have the capacity to provide their clients with detailed and timely advice for the initial stages of project conception and feasibility, right through to contract administration and construction completion. As part of an international engineering consultancy, they have at their disposal additional resources and specialist expertise enabling them to address projects of any scale or complexity. In addition to civil and structural engineering services, they provide full project management services, overseeing and co-ordinating the input of various diverse experts to ensure the delivery of projects to programme and budget for their clients. They are committed to supporting their most important asset, their staff, in ongoing continuous professional development, at all levels of the firm. They achieve this through a combination of providing the most up-to-date technology, including the latest modelling, analysis, design, and CAD software, and offering in-house and external training as necessary. Responsibilities: * Working alongside and liaising with engineers and designers on numerous projects based in the UK * Aiding with planning and design specifications * Must be capable of looking after a number of projects at any one time. * Plan & execute the project to effectively meet the requirements of the client, the design team and the company. * Monitor and report on overall project performance * Prepare CAD drawings for the Engineers mainly working on roads/bridge/water projects Benefits: * 25 days Annual Leave * Flexible Benefits Package * Defined Contribution Pension Scheme * Professional Membership Fees * Annual Salary Reviews * Annual Bonus * Relocation offerings * Mentoring * Annual Appraisal System * Further Educational Support * Subsidised Sports & Social Club Requirements: * Ideally 2-3 years experienced with the use of AutoCAD for preparation of civil engineering infrastructure * Proven experience producing drawings and details for roads, access, drainage, water supply, utilities and associated infrastructure. * Experience working on water/wastewater projects * Knowledge of the requirements for preparation of engineering information in support of planning applications. Good drawing and document control abilities. * Strong communication and team working skills essential. * You will be required to work closely with our infrastructure design engineers. * Ideally you will have Diploma/Certificate in Civil Engineering | ||
