| Managing Quantity Surveyor / Quantity Surveyor
UK leading main contractor requires a Managing Quantity Surveyor / Quantity Surveyor for its Civils division
Location:
Essex
Remuneration:
£45,000 - £50,000 per annum depending on experience

The Client:
My client is a highly established and internationally respected main contractor. They are one of the market leading construction companies in the UK and are proud of their annual revenue that is circa £4 billion.
They are renowned for their work overseas and within the UK on many award winning projects that span across: Social, Health, Education and regeneration, Road, Rail, Defense and Commercial property sectors.
The Project:
My Client requires a Managing Quantity Surveyor / Quantity Surveyor to join their Civils division.
They undertake coastal flood defenses, land generation and piling work on projects ranging from transport improvements to industrial projects.
As the successful Managing Quantity Surveyor / Quantity Surveyor you will initially be based on work at London City Airport. The project is valued at £20 million and will see you undertaking all extension works including putting piling into the water of St George Docks and pre concrete casts for joining on top. It will also include all associated Civils work such as re-laying of tarmac and lights.
Future projects are likely to include work on the LUL tubelines and ABB electrical substations.
Requirements:
Ideally 8years+ Quantity Surveying experience
Main contractor background and Civils experience is desirable
BSc/HND in Quantity Surveying is advantageous, but not essential
