| Position Senior Quantity Surveyor Location Hertfordshire Salary £55,000 + Car and full benefits Company Fawkes & Reece Contact Adel Elsayed Job RM Reference QUANTITY SURVEYOR VAC: AE34672 Job Type Permanent Job Description Senior Quantity Surveyor Our client is a national contractor and one of the best known names in UK construction. They have several different arms to their operation and are currently recruiting for their fit out and refurbishment brand. This sector is known for its innovative fit out and design and projects for everything form commercial offices, hotels, leisure facilities and nightclubs. Already this year has seen them undertake some fantastic projects for some prestigious clients. The project values can be as high as £15m although more frequently are up to £5m and for this vacancy are spread over the M25 region. The role of the Senior Quantity Surveyor would be to ensure the day to financial success of a variety of projects of different sizes. The main duties of the Quantity Surveyor will be completing office based surveyor duties such as final accounts, sub contractor valuations, monthly valuations and will report directly to the Managing Quantity Surveyor. Aside from this the Senior Quantity Surveyor will be asked to attend site meetings and client meetings and must able to communicate effectively with people from all levels of the construction industry and represent the company in a professional manner. Quantity Surveyor / Senior Quantity Surveyor / Intermediate Quantity Surveyor The client is looking for a Quantity Surveyor with a real passion for excellence, and the desire to have the best run projects and climb the career ladder in a short a time as possible. The right Quantity Surveyor will have at least three years experience working in a similar role for a main contractor of fit-out contractor. A relevant qualification would be ideal but is not essential.
