A leading innovative design practice in central London is now seeking a Project Architect. The successful candidate will have excellent design capabilities and a proven track record in working on innovative architectural designs. You will be part of a creative, forward thinking design practice that is being recognised as a leading light in architectural design by the industry and is steadily building an envious high profile local & international client list. You will be an integral member of the senior team reporting to, sharing responsibility and creative direction with the two principals, leading a fantastic team of talented Architects who are passionate about their work. You will have genuine design flair and having an artistic feel & creative approach will be a distinct advantage for this role. Responsibilities: Reporting to and liaising with the two principals you will lead teams on significant projects, delivering on time and on budget for the client Manage & delegate workloads in the office dependent on project requirement Be a guiding mentor in the design process, helping junior staff realise their potential and enhance the cutting edge design reputation that the practice already is known for Possess the willingness & motivation to involve oneself in complex and varied projects Requirements: Be Part II or Part III qualified as an Architect from a recognised institution with ideally a minimum of 3 years post graduate experience in design led creative architecture Posess an artistic edge and an eye for expanding the realms of what good design can achieve for a client Have the experience, maturity and self confidence to be a responsible and effective leader with a focus on productive individual & team work Experience and knowledge of AutoCAD would be an advantage Be self motivated and passionate about design with a keeness to advance, expand your skill set Knowledge should cover all aspects of project development from inception to completion on site where appropriate.
