| My client is one of the country's largest and most successful multi-disciplinary Engineering Consultancy firm providing innovative solutions on both public and private ventures. Originally the position will require hands on involvement on the projects in way of design and then will lead to a management role *Good computer skills and in particular structural analysis software *Commercially astute with strong client liaising skills *Good knowledge in AutoCad is also essential *Undertaking technical and feasibility studies and site investigations/inspections *Developing design proposals at sketch, detail design and production stages *Assessing the structural potential risks of specific projects, as well as undertaking risk management in specialist roles *Reviewing and approving project drawings *Inspecting and certifying works at appropriate stages *Managing a team of Design Engineers & Technicians The Candidate: *Degree qualified with Chartered membership of the IEI or currently working towards it *Ideally 5-10 years structural experience with ideally exposure to major commercial, industrial and residential developments in Ireland or the UK *Good business acumen *Excellent communication skills *Good knowledge, experience and competency in the areas of design *Experience and competency across of range of building solutions and projects. *Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. *Knowledge of Irish or UK Planning and Building Regulations Benefits: *Excellent remuneration package. *Discretionary bonus. *Pension scheme. *VHI group scheme. *Paid CPD programme fees *Sports and Social events | ||
