| Job Description: My Client is looking to recruit experienced Quantity Surveyors to manage high value, regional facilities maintenance contracts for a prestigious client on a national basis from their Leeds Office. The contracts are divided into regional areas across the whole country and comprise the planned preventative maintenance of mechanical and electrical equipment to a range of size of properties from small retail to large head-office. The contracts also include for reactive repairs to M & E and building fabric based on a combination of schedules of rates and hourly rates. The Surveyors will be allocated an individual region to administer and the role will include: Certifying monthly payments for PPM, based on agreed cost models. Managing contract variation finances. Auditing high volumes of reactive works final accounts, technical support being provided for arithmetic and rate checking. Agreeing monthly reactive works valuations with the contractor and preparing payment certificates and back up reports. Site checking of a sample of accounts will be required. The allocation of monies to various different budgets together with analysis to capital and revenue expenditure. Monthly financial reporting to the client of actual expenditure compared to budget. Regular dialogue with the client representative to provide cost data; estimates for new initiatives and ad-hoc reports Presentation at monthly client meetings will be required. Preparation of monthly accrual reports Annual open-book reviews of contractor's costs Reporting to Associate director Office Location & Profile: My Client needs to supplement the existing core team in their Leeds office but they will also require additional resources to support the commission in Ireland. The Leeds office has been established since 1976 and is continuing to develop and grow. In depth knowledge and experience of planned maintenance and measured term contracts is preferred. Role Requirements: Able to work independently with minimum supervision Be a confident communicator who interacts well with Clients Evidence of experience in this field. Good IT skills, particularly Excel Able to be proactive Experience Required: Minimum 4 years post graduation. Salary: Excellent salary and benefits for the appropriate individual.
